Holy Crap

My brother...nay, my AWESOME brother just hooked me up with my own personal wet dream. A Wacom Cintiq 21UX. Oh hellz yes. This thing is huge. I am going to have to reprogram my brain to actually work at this size. Will also have to rearrange my work area. I will post pictures of that when I do it.

Outlaw Roughs

pencil roughs for the outlaw entertainment search. I will ink over these. I don't have the patience to get more detail then this in the pencil stage. I like to keep moving. Something I really need to work on. Jim Lee spends 8 hours pencilling 1 page. I get pissed if I spend more then 2-3 hours on pencils. I have to learn to enjoy it more. oh well, one day.

Warmup

This one didn't flow so well. I haven't had a chance to draw as much this week and I think my skills have decreased a smidge. oh well, can't be perfect all the time.

Man with a Gun

Warmups are fun. I can pick something I suck at drawing like....buildings or cars or trucks or robots or....today it is guns. And since it is a warmup I don't have to care if it sucks or rocks.

And today it is well...eh.

Jump Jump

Quick warmup of a dude jumping over a wall. Had some problems with this pose. All I knew starting off was that I wanted his foot to be in the foreground and went from there. Maybe not anatomically correct, but good enough to translate the idea...I hope anyways

Screencast Test

So I've started watching some artists as they draw on USTREAM. It is pretty neat. So I figured I'd give it a shot also. The is my first test, trial run. As you can see, the first part you can't really see anything. Not sure if i can change the contrast or darkness or what. Will try that for next time.

If you skip forward to about 3 minutes in, you will actually see what I am drawing. I don't think there is any audio capture, it is really low. So don't crank your volume. maybe next time.

No reference was used for the truck and I didn't think of perspective before I started drawing. So just a really loose warmup piece.
